Who We Are

KidzWorld is an equal-opportunity faith based child-development center serving the community on a non-discriminatory basis. Whether your child is new to the childcare or preschool experience or a seasoned veteran, KidzWorld offers programs that are designed to help children and families with transitions, growth, school readiness, and continuous learning that are age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate. 

KidzWorld is a non-profit, state-licensed child development entity covered by liability insurance. KidzWorld has met requirements to be a WVDHHR Tier II status quality program.

KidzWorld has an “open-door policy” in which parental visits, conferences, and observations are encouraged. KidzWorld follows all rules and regulations of the West Virginia Department of Health, the West Virginia Department of Human Resources, the Office of the West Virginia Fire Marshall, and the West Virginia Department of Education.

KidzWorld has been serving the community since 2011.

Our Staff

Well-Educated Teachers

Professional standards are the highest at KidzWorld Learning Center. Our staff is made up of well-educated individuals. The director and teaching staff are carefully chosen, and our staff turnover rate is very low, offering experience and continuity. Our staff bring excellent academic backgrounds, communications skills, and maturity.

All staff is required to:

  • A clear background check

  • Yearly trained in CPR/First Aid (specializing in children and infants)

  • Continuous monthly staff development

Education Professionals

All staff is credentialed on the West Virginia STARS Career Pathway, an early childhood framework to encourage higher levels of skills, credentials, and wages. All training is registered where staff receives credit in Core Knowledge and Core Competencies for Early Care and Education Professionals.
